A Death in a Shootout After a School Football Game

One person has been killed and two others injured in a Friday night shootout after a school football game in Jacksonville, northeastern Florida, local media reported.

The fatality is a former student at Raines High School, where the shooting occurred, authorities have indicated.

Eyewitnesses have clarified that the incident took place about 15 minutes after the conclusion of the match between the team of Raines against that of the Robert E. Lee high school, outside the stadium.

The two wounded people, a young man and a girl, are students of that school, also of Jacksonville and they received bullet impacts in the superior part of their body in the first case and in the inferior one in the second, the local Police have communicated.

So far the victims have not been identified, nor has their age or arrests related to this incident been reported.

The educational authorities of the County of Duval indicated today that they will meet this Saturday to analyze possible measures that must be taken in future matches or events to guarantee the safety of the participants and assistants to them.
